Emailing an Invoice

In order to email Invoices/Work Orders/Quotes out GlassShop you must have the ability to set your printer to a PDF Writer, Microsoft Office Document Image Writer, or Microsoft One Note. You must first add one of these programs installed on your computer.

Once you have download a program to print to you will need to add it as a printer. You can do that by going to Admin > Printer Options > Setup GS Printer.

Then go to Admin > General Setup > Printer Options > Assign Printers. Then set your printers for each document type.

Now anytime you click the email button in GlassShop your document will be sent to a PDF. So that you can email the document.

When you click print you will be asked to save the file. I would suggest saving the file on your desktop so that it will be easy to find.

Now that you have a file on your desktop you can right click on it, then click send to mail recipient. This will create an email with the PDF attached. In order to email directly from the desktop you will need one of these programs Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Mail, Eudora, or Thunderbird.

If you do not have a default mail program setup you will need to attach the document to an email using your email providers website.
